We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

You can use almost everything on CareerChoices India without an account or sharing any personal details.

What we collect

We keep data to a minimum. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email and message you submit so we can reply. If you create an account, we store your name, email, mobile number and a securely hashed password. Quiz answers are processed to generate your results.

How we use it

Contact details are used only to respond to your query. Account details are used to sign you in and, in future, to send exam reminders and save your shortlists. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics (Umami) to understand which pages are useful. It records aggregate, anonymous usage — such as page views and referrers — and does not build advertising profiles of you.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for sign-in sessions. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

Contact messages and account data are kept only as long as needed for the purpose above. You can ask us to delete your account or contact messages at any time.

Your choices

You can browse the entire site without an account. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to us via the Contact page.

Third-party links

We link to official government, university and scholarship portals. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children

Many of our users are school students. We collect only the minimum data described above and never sell it. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before creating an account.
